STOCK CARS: Ady's back on track in all-action display

Long Sutton veteran racer Ady Groom made a welcome return to racing in the National Bangers at the Adrian Flux Arena last Saturday in a super smart Sunny for the inaugural Mk 1 Primera / all Sunny Banger bash.

Groome showed he has lost none of his ability behind the wheel as he earned an entertainer award with an all-action display in the Destruction Derby.

The performance was a throwback to a decade ago and it is hoped it will not be too long before he is once again tempted to go back on track.

Harry Cole was in great form in the Micro Bangers as he took his maiden victory in National Bangers in the first heat since moving up from the Junior Bangers last year.

It was a fantastic drive from Cole who survived pressure from a whole host of experienced names on his back bumper over the last few laps to take the chequered flag which he was rightly delighted by!

Kasey Crane put in another great display in the Junior Bangers and, although she did not feature in the top 10 in her races, she showed enough promise to indicate it will not be long before she manages to do just that.

Stock Car and Banger Racing returns to King’s Lynn over the Easter weekend with racing taking place on Saturday, April 20 (5.30pm) and Monday, April 22 (1pm).
