Burghley House Spooky Tours
Delivered by local ghost expert Martin Tempest, the tours are not recommended for children under 11
Daily until Thursday, October 31 (excluding Sundays)
Thursday, October 17
Pumpkin rolling - Easton Walled Garden
Halloween trail and chance to plant a spring bulb or a conker in a pot
Admission £7.50 for adults and £3.50 for children, plus £2 for all garden activities
Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays until October 27, 11am to 4pm
Friday, October 18
Halloween fun at 'Scarewell' Farm - Sacrewell Farm
Grab a wheelbarrow, visit the giant pumpkin patch and get creative in the carving tent
Visit the farmhouse of horror, an interactive walk through with live actors (suitable for children of all ages)
Stamford heavenly chocolates will be making Halloween themed chocolate treats
9.30am to 5pm daily until October 27
Saturday 19th October
Burghley Halloween trail around the sculpture garden
Tread through the crispy autumn leaves and find the hidden spooks to receive a treat
Admission is included with a house and gardens or gardens only ticket
Annual pass holders and friends of Burghley get free admission
11am to 5pm (last admission is 4.30pm) daily until Thursday, October 31
Spooky half term bike trail - Rutland Cycling at Whitwell and Normanton, Rutland Water
Cycle the family-friendly trail between the Whitwell and Normanton stores
Pick up a trail leaflet from the store, start the hunt for clues and collect your prize at the end
Bike hire available at Whitwell and Normanton £1 per person
9am to 5.30pm daily until Sunday, November 3
Bodygroovin Halloween party - Mama Liz's, Stamford
Dress up in your best Halloween outfits. The two best dressed will win free tickets to their event in December
Tickets will be £5 on the door. Over 18s only

Halloween Skate Party - Deepings Leisure Centre
Fancy dress can be worn, 7.30 to 9.30pm
Saturday, October 26
Halloween fun weekend at Bowthorpe Park Farm
Pick your own pumpkin (free pumpkin with every child entry)
Head over to the carving barn to carve your pumpkin. Face painting and a bouncy castle
Adults £4.50, child £3.50, under 2s go free
Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm
Wild Halloween - Willow Tree Fen nature reserve, Deeping Saint Nicholas
Includes moth hunting, spider making, pumpkin carving and skull and poo identification, a Halloween quiz and bat crafts
Stay until dusk for stories and toasted marshmallows around the camp-fire
Fancy dress is encouraged.
Reserve a place by Sunday, October 20, entry is £2 for adults, £1 for children
4pm to 7.30pm
Silent fireworks event - Sacrewell Farm
No bangs lets you experience the fun and excitement of a fireworks event but without the loud noises
There will be a bar, food, live music and entertainment and the indoor play barn will be staying open throughout the evening
6pm to 8.30pm
Halloween weekend - Rutland Farm Park
A treasure hunt for trick or treat sweets, Halloween fun and games in the play barn on the Sunday
Tombola, guinea pig and chicken petting, and wear anything Halloween related to get a free bag of food to feed the animals
£3 entrance to the farm park to those in full Halloween costume
10am to 5pm
Cirque du freak Halloween Costume Party - Willoughby's Bar and Club Stamford
Costume party with circus freak show vibes
Free entry before 11.30pm, £5 after. Over 18s only
10pm- 4.30am (last entry 1.45am)

Stamford Spooktacular at Stamford Recreation Ground bandstand
Spooky storytelling, costumed characters and flash mob dancers
A variety of competitions including best fancy dress
Tea and coffee stand, hot dogs and burgers
1pm to 4pm
Tuesday, October 29
Halloween stories and crafts - Oakham Library
Spooktacular stories and creepy crafts suitable for families with children aged 3 and above. All children must be accompanied by an adult
10.30am to 11.30am
Thursday, October 31
Collyweston Village Hall Halloween party
Fancy dress and pumpkins welcome, music and games, awards for the best dressed and best pumpkin
Treat yourself to a hot-dog, toffee apple and hot chocolate and have a little Halloween fun with the family
Free entry
6pm to 8pm
