Things to do in Rutland and Stamford on Bank Holiday Monday: Langham Street Market 2019




Looking for something to make Bank Holiday Monday memorable?

Then Langham Street market 2019 is taking place from 11am to 4pm.

With about 100 stalls and lots of other attractions, it'll be fun for all ages.

There will be a barbecue outside the village hall plus food and refreshments all day inside.

As well as market stalls there will be bric-a-brac, books, a tombola and a raffle with great prizes up to £100 and various vouchers.

Attractions also include a display of classic cars, motorcycles, agricultural and military vehicles.

Plus there will be a fire engine, a fun dog show and morris dancing displays.

Parking, including for disabled badge holders, will be signposted.

The length of Church Street between Melton Road and the junction with Well Street will be closed to traffic for the event.

Street market stalls will be along Church Street plus a number of stalls are in driveways further down Church Street towards the parking area on Ashwell Road.

Proceeds from village hall stalls, the barbecue and food, tombola, and raffle, plus the street market pitch fees, will be used for village hall refurbishments and maintenance to benefit the whole village (charity number 522341).
