A1 open after five vehicle crash near Stibbington

A multi vehicle collision on the A1 southbound between the A47 and A605 near Stibbington on Tuesday, June 5 was cleared earlier in the day.

Highways England said that all lanes were open while police had remained on the scene and the vehicles were recovered.

Five vehicles were reportedly involved in the collision at around 11am with four leaving the carriageway.

Emergency services had warned motorists to avoid the area as delays were expected.

No one was believed to have been injured in the incident.
