Accident leads to closure of Witham Road

Motorists have been asked to avoid Witham Road between Little Bytham and Witham on the Hill following a collision.

Police are currently on the scene and the road has been closed.

It is not clear at this stage how many vehicles were involved or if there have been any injuries.

In a Tweet, Stamford police said: "Officers are currently attending an RTC on Witham Road, between Little Bytham and Witham on the hill.

"Please avoid this area until the road can be reopened again."
