Agreed move for Bourne Post Office to nearby empty premises

The Post Office has agreed to relocate Bourne Post Office from its existing West Street location to a nearby new location. The date of the move will be confirmed at a future date

The existing postmaster Mr Habib Ul Rehman Hanif has identified an opportunity to move the branch to the former Paint A Pot Place at 31 West Street, Bourne. The premises will undergo a full refurbishment.

The existing store and Post Office at 24 – 26 West Street in Bourne will then close.

Bourne will be a modern mains branch with three screened counters in a dedicated area of the store, plus a Post Office service point alongside the retail counter.

Opening hours will be Monday to Saturday: 9am to 5.30pm. This will mean that the branch would be open additionally on Saturday afternoon for customer convenience.
