Stamford recruitment firm MorePeople set for move to new HQ as co-founder and chairman retire

The co-founder of Stamford-based recruitment firm MorePeople, Peter Hunt, has retired, after more than two decades with the business.

Peter launched MorePeople with Guy Moreton in 2000 to support businesses in the food, horticulture, agriculture and garden industry.

Guy, who becomes executive chairman, and new chief executive Andy Fitzmaurice have purchased Peter’s shares.

Peter spent a lifetime in the industry, starting at petfood business Armitage Bros before moves to GW Padley, in a finance and accountancy role, Geest (now Bakkavor) and then Redbridge Holdings (now Total Produce) when he met Guy in 1999.
