Rutland and Stamford Etsy Team hosted a Christmas fair at the weekend, which saw 1,800 people pass through the doors.

The fair - which was held on Saturday (December 14) at Stamford Arts Centre - saw a variety of different stalls including glass decorations, silver jewellery and pottery.

There was also a mug raffle - showcasing mugs full of Etsy products donated by the stall holders - which raised £300.

Rachel Parkin, who was ‘blown away’ by the turnout, said: “Thank you to all the local people who supported us.”

“The turnout is testimony to the quality of things on display,” she added.

The day - which was organised by members of the Rutland and Stamford Etsy team - allowed the independent Etsy businesses to socialise.
