Stamford advent calendar run through the Facebook group here To Help Others gathers support
Organisers of a Christmas appeal are well on their way to a record-breaking year.
Marie Pears and her son Logan Bell coordinate the collection of advent calendars to hand out to deserving people across the area.
Last year they collected 767 but hope to top 1,000 this year.
Supporters have already donated 600 calendars ahead of the appeal's closing date on November 27.
Marie, of West Street Gardens, Stamford, said: "The collection is going amazingly."
The calendars will be delivered to foodbanks, social services and Evergreen Care Trust clients.
Marie added: "We need to get over 1,000 to fulfil the list we have."
St John's Ambulance volunteers will host a special collection point at the Stamford Christmas market on Sunday, November 24 at the top of Ironmonger Street.
Other public collection points include Beyond The Fringe in Stamford, Nelsons Butchers in Stamford, Oakham and Uppingham, Dee's Fish Bar in Bourne and Cloud Nine in Market Deeping.
