Summer Reading Challenge at Stanford Library gets off to a flying start




Fifty-three children signed up to the Summer Reading Challenge at Stamford Library during its launch day.

The national scheme encourages children to read six books of their choice during the summer holiday.

It launched on Saturday alongside space-themed craft activities.

The challenge runs until September and children can register at any time.
