Essendine author signs deal with London publisher Joffe Books
An author who takes inspiration from her surroundings is releasing new novels.
Jane Richards, who writes under the pseudonym Jane E James, will have two new books on the shelves by the end of the year.
The Essendine author has signed a deal with London publisher Joffe Books, ahead of the release of her new psychological thrillers.
“I’m thrilled that both works have been snapped up in a two-book deal,” she said.
“The first will be out in July and the second in December.
“Book one is written but I’m on a deadline to finish the second.
“This means I’ll be locked away in my writing cave for most of this year.”
Both are standalone psychological suspense thrillers, with plot twists aimed at keeping the reader guessing.
Like previous novels, the local area plays a big part in them.
Jane said: “Local readers should be able to spot familiar landmarks and places of interest.”
