Tallington Lodge Care Home in Tallington between Stamford and Market Deeping scoops the Best Regeneration Project at the 2020 Pinders Health Care Awards




A care home that features its very own pub is celebrating after scooping an award for a refurbishment and extension project.

Tallington Lodge Care Home in Main Road, Tallington, won the Best Regeneration Project at the 2020 Pinders Health Care Awards.

New areas of the care home now feature the Railway Inn pub, Gallery café and luxurious lounge and dining areas.

The scheme involved the partial demolition of the old home to make way for a new extension in keeping with the original Regency period rectory.

Managing director of Country Court, Alykhan Kachra, said: “We are thrilled Tallington Lodge has been chosen as the winner of this prestigious award.

“Our residents are at the heart of everything we do and we are very proud of the exceptional surroundings we and our building services team have created for them at Tallington Lodge.”

Tallington Lodge receives a 'good' rating from the Care Quality Commission.
