Car and bike show in Bourne is a classic
All roads led to Bourne on Sunday as the town's popular classic car and bike carnival made a welcome return.
The event, which was created ten years ago by Bourne Motor Racing Club Show, is now organised by Bourne Events Team, and this year's extravaganza saw more than 300 privately owned classic cars, bikes and buses on display at the Wellhead, South Street car park, West Street and in the grounds of The Red Hall.
But that was not all, and the Bourne Heritage Centre, which houses the Raymond May's Room featuring Bourne's illustrious motoring past, opened its doors to give visitors a tantalising glimpse into racing's halycon bygone era.
Other highlights included vintage fairground rides, live music, trade and craft stalls and a good selection of food and drink.
