South Luffenham-based C S Ellis Group which owns C S Ellis Logistics, Pacwolf Fulfilment, Versatile, Rutland Garden Nursery and Multum Gin Parvo donates to Rutland Foodbank




Instead of buying gifts a business is helping to make sure people in Rutland don't go hungry this Christmas.

The C S Ellis Group, based at Wireless Hill in South Luffenham, has donated items to Rutland Foodbank instead of purchasing corporate Christmas gifts.

The group owns five businesses in the area including C S Ellis Logistics, Pacwolf Fulfilment, Versatile, Rutland Garden Nursery and Multum Gin Parvo.

Chief executive, Chaz Ellis, said “The C S Ellis Group has been based in Rutland since 1933.

"We felt it was important this year in particular to show our care and support to our local community as many families in our area will be impacted by the cost of living crisis.”

Foodbanks have been struggling since the pandemic and now cost of living crisis, as demand for their services continues to soar but donations drop.
