She has created HR consultancy Odin HR Ltd, aimed primarily at offering businesses without in-house HR resources a solution for their employee matters.

Kirsten said: “HR advice has to be combined with commercial pragmatism; finding solutions that work for a business.

Kirsten offers phone, e-mail, virtual and onsite advice and support on the widest employee matters.

This can range from basic legal questions to sensitive ill-health issues and performance meetings to managing large-scale business change and restructure/redundancy programmes - including full site closures and pension scheme change consultation and closure.

Businesses can choose between a ‘pay as you need us’ arrangement or through annual tetained services agreements.

For employers wanting to get the basics right to protect their businesses, Odin HR also offers an ‘HR Check-up’ and will put together policies and employee/management documentation for the entire employee lifecycle.

She is also a UK employment law specialist, qualified to masters level, providing her with the skill-set to guide, advise and risk assess employment situations, to protect clients against legal challenge.

Odin HR also offers line manager training in HR and employment law.
