Deepings Camera club wins Brotherhoods's Cup for third year

Deepings Camera Club has retained the Brotherhoods’ Cup for the third consecutive year despite stiff competition from clubs from across the region.

This year 14 camera clubs entered coming from as far afield as Cambridge, Ely, St Ives and Grantham.

Each club entered eight digital images and all had selected photographs of a very high standard. This made the job of the very experienced judge a tricky one but he commented on every image before awarding a score.

Each image is marked out of 20 and none of the Deepings Camera Club images scored less than 17 - with one captured by Graham Clegg getting a perfect score.

At the end of the evening when the final points were tallied Deepings Camera Club were declared the winners with a score of 144, just ahead of PICO, based in Peterborough, while Cambridge Camera Club scored 141.

Some of the images entered are shown here.
