Chernobyl children to benefit from kindness of staff at Boots Opticians in Stamford

Boots Opticians in Stamford is collecting donations for children from Chernobyl.
Fifteen youngsters are visiting the area this month through the charity Friends of Chernobyl's Children.
Branch manager Louise Hirst is collecting donations of good quality children's clothing and new toiletries at the premises in High Street for the children to take home.
Donations can be dropped off at the branch until the end of July.
The children will also receive a free eye test at Boots Opticians during their visit.
