A car was caught on camera appearing to hit the wall of an historic Stamford church before crossing into the oncoming lane and stopping on the pavement opposite.
The footage was captured by a camera positioned outside the Copper Room bar on February 6.
It shows the car coming around the corner from St Mary's Street and travelling down the hill towards town bridge.
Stamford Police's Inspector Ian Martin said officers had arrested the driver on suspicion of drink driving and that no one had been hurt.
