Firefighters called to lodge fire at Tallington Lakes




Firefighters were called to a lodge on fire at Tallington Lakes this afternoon (Saturday, November 6).

Crews from Market Deeping, Stamford, Spalding and Bourne were called to the site at 2.25pm.

Everyone was accounted for and there were no injuries reported.

Crews extinguished the fire using a hose reel and a light portable pump, wearing breathing apparatus. Crews remain at the scene and are dampening down hot spots.

It is understood the lodge is a permanent home on the East Bank and was severely damaged.

The cause has not yet been released.

Tallington Lakes is a leisure home park with a range of lodges and an outdoor activity centre.
