Tallington Lodge Care Home invites people to take part in pen pal scheme




Care home staff are inviting people to write to their residents in a bid to raise their spirits.

Residents at Tallington Lodge Care Home - which is part of the Country Court group - are still unable to have visitors due to the coronavirus crisis.

Morgan Hicks, customer relations advisor at Country Court, said: "As a home we love to be involved as much as we can with our local community and with the current pandemic we cannot currently have visits.

"We are hoping we can interact this way."

She added that residents ‘enjoy arts and crafts’ and would like to put their creative skills to use to make things for other people.

People of any age are invited to send letters, drawings or postcards to Tallington Lodge Care Home, Main Road, Stamford, PE9 4RP.

Those wishing to receive a reply from the residents should include their name and address.
