Cottesmore Village Players look forward to performance of Treasure Island

An amateur dramatics group will stage its 40th pantomime this weekend.
Cottesmore Village Players, now known by the acronym CVP, will perform Treasure Island at Market Overton Village Hall.
Director Sarah Bateman said: "We have a range of ages involved in the panto and some very talented people both on and backstage.
"Some of the youngsters are using it as their skill for the Duke of Edinburgh awards."
Performances take place this Saturday and Sunday (February 1 and 2) and next Saturday and Sunday (February 8 and 9) at 2.30pm. There are also Saturday evening performances at 7.30pm.
