Uppingham Methodist Church continues to open as 'warm space'
A church will continue as a warm space during the cost of living crisis.
Uppingham Methodist Church will continue to open its doors as a designated ‘warm space’ on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10am to midday.
Minister Rev Bekkie Wright told the Uppingham Neighbourhood Forum: “If anyone needs a warm space to spend time in and have the company of others, the Uppingham Methodist Church are offering out a warm space for anyone to just come along, no booking required and free to all.
“The church will continue to offer free hot drinks, biscuits, and activities throughout the remaining months of the winter, part of over 2,500 registered organisations that have opened or are opening up free, warm, welcoming spaces for the public over this winter across the UK.”
