Stamford, Bourne and Market Deeping Police Stations close front desks to the public
Front desks at police stations in Stamford, Bourne and Market Deeping are now closed to the public until further notice.
Lincolnshire Police has made the move to protect its uniformed and civilian staff during the coronavirus outbreak.
The closures also apply at police stations in Stamford, Bourne and Market Deeping, with anyone wishing to see police in person being directed to Boston Police Station, in Lincoln Lane, instead.
A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: "These are difficult decisions in difficult times but made with the upmost concern for the safety of the public and our staff, whilst making sure that we continue to deliver our service in the most effective way.
"By making these closures, we are able to minimise the risk to the public and our staff by reducing communal spaces.
"Please be reassured that these closures are for public safety and we are still able to provide full provision of all police services across the county."
You can still call police on the non-emergency number 101 or 999 in the event of an emergency.
