The doors of a town coffee shop have been closed until further notice.

Costa Coffee in Stamford High Street has been shut for the past two days with a sign on the door indicating its closure.

The message explains that the store is closed until further notice and apologises on behalf of Stamford Costa for any inconvenience caused.

The Stamford branch was closed to allow engineers to carry out water works on sewer pipes nearby.

A spokeswoman for Costa Coffee said the branch temporarily closed to avoid disruption to customers while repairs were taking place.
