Attic clothes shop in Stamford will slash its prices to £20 or less for its final day of trading on Friday May 14
A clothes shop will have big bargains on offer for its final day of trading.
Attic, based in St Mary’s Street, Stamford, will close on Friday (May 14) after 15 years.
Owners Marion Lindley and Kathryn White first opened the shop in 2006 when they saw an opportunity to bring mid-range fashion to the town.
They have now made the decision to retire.
Most items in the shop are currently reduced by 70 per cent and on Friday all items will be sold for £20 or less.
Marketing manager Debbie Stoddart said: “It will be a sad day and we will miss our many loyal customers."
Sisters-in-law Marion and Kathryn have both been involved in retail for much of their working lives - Marion on the operational side and Kathryn buying merchandise.
When the closure was announced, Kathryn said: “We’ve been absolutely inundated with kind messages from our very dear customers saying how sad they are.”
Social distancing measures are in place at the shop, which means only five customers will be allowed in at a time.
