Comedian Michael McIntyre becomes the fastest selling act at Stamford Corn Exchange Theatre

Comedy giant Michael McIntyre has become the fastest selling act booked to appear at Stamford Corn Exchange Theatre.

Tickets for his warm-up show sold out in just 15 minutes when they went on sale today.

The last-minute gig was only confirmed on Saturday and theatre manager Judith Mackie was only given the green light to start selling tickets this morning.

She said: "It is our fastest selling show of all time!"
