Morrisons in Stamford on the look out for new community projects
Community champion Jason Hardstaff is the face of Morrisons' charity work in Stamford.
Since taking on the role five years ago he has forged strong links with many groups but is always looking for new projects to support.
He said: "I do a lot of the work in my own time, but it's rewarding and I do it for the community."
His latest mission will focus on schools and youth groups by welcoming them into the shop on Uffington Road for a behind-the-scenes tour.
Jason has a budget of £200 a month.
He receives dozens of requests for raffle prizes and always tries to support as many as possible.
He said: "We try to keep the projects within Stamford and the surrounding villages."
Groups can also host tombolas and promotional stands or pack bags in return for donations.
Stamford Air Cadets and Blackstones Football Club are regular visitors who often donate a percentage of their takings to the company's chosen charity, Clic Sargent.
A lunch club with the Evergreen Care Trust is one of the most popular projects with 25 pensioners attending each week.
Megan Dartnell, 89, said: "It's good for friendship and gives me a break from home."
Reducing food waste also comes under Jason's responsibilities and he supports Linchfield Day Nursery and Christ Church day centre which collect food donations every few days.
