Latest covid figures in South Kesteven and Rutland

Further covid deaths have been recorded in the area, while cases remain extremely low.

Figures released by Public Health England, show that four positive cases have been recorded in South Kesteven this week. Only 4,403 tests have been taken.

Three further deaths have sadly been recorded, bringing the number of fatalities in the pandemic to 358.

A further covid death has also been recorded in Rutland, with 87 people in the county having lost their lives through the pandemic.

The number of people taking covid tests has dropped in the past week with 1,344 taken and only five people who had a confirmed positive test result
