Catmose College student librarians wear crazy ties in memory of Chris Legrand and to raise money for Diabetes UK

In memory of our librarian Chris Legrand, and in recognition of his love for a ‘crazy tie’, Catmose College student librarians voted to honour his memory this term by wearing an outlandishly loud tie and raising funds for Diabetes UK, writes Elisabeth Newell.

Chris was a much loved member of college staff and his good humour and cheery personality made him popular with staff and students alike.

The college fully got into the spirit of the day, with some excellent ties on display.

We are delighted to have raised £1,000 with all proceeds raised going to Diabetes UK.
