Dad's ride in memory of his baby girl Lucie

A father who lost his baby girl to meningitis is continuing to fundraise in her memory with a bike ride across the country.

Stamford man Jon Page will start his 975-mile ride from Land’s End to John O ‘ Groats this weekend in support of Meningitis Research Foundation and his own charity For Lucie.

His daughter died of group B streptococcal meningitis in November 2010 at just 16 days old.

Jon, 47, said: “As a family we and raise money and awareness in an effort to celebrate Lucie’s life.

“Please help us to avoid other families having to go through this tragic loss by donating as much or as little as you wish.”
