Members at Deepings Rugby Club got the exciting opportunity to try out the world’s first virtual reality sports experience, Wear the Rose.

The first fully immersed 360-degree virtual reality sports experience, using Oculus Rift technology, allowed the rugby players the chance to feel what it’s like to train with the England Rugby Team.

The players also enjoyed a mini rugby pitch provided by Guinness, with a set of inflatable posts.

Mark Owen, Chairman of Deepings Rugby Union FC, said: “It was a fantastic day and we had lots of people come down to get involved in the fun.”
