Delays on A1 at Wansford and Stamford

Drivers are facing delays on the A1 this afternoon (Friday), both northbound and southbound.

A crash has been reported on the A1 southbound at Wansford just before the A47 turn off.

This is causing delays to the traffic which is already travelling slower than 70mph due to a lower speed limit in the construction area.

Traffic is also queuing on the A1 southbound near Stamford after a crash at Wittering.

Update: The road has now cleared
