Stamford Exeter Townswomen’s Guild celebrates Freda Elliott's 40-year membership

A long-serving member of the Stamford Exeter Townswomen’s Guild had a surprise visit from club members.

Freda Elliott opened her front door to be greeted by club chairman Rosemary Seamer and four other members on her driveway.

They were there to present Freda with her 40-year membership badge and certificate, which were carefully handed over with the help of a grabber to maintain social distancing.

The group's monthly meetings are currently on hold but the committee wanted to acknowledge the milestone celebration.
