Driver rescued from car stuck in flood water in Whissendine, Rutland




A driver has been rescued from a car that was trapped in about 8 inches of flood water.

It happened at about 1.15pm this afternoon (November 7) in Main Street, Whissendine and firefighters from Melton Mowbray were called by police.

The car was stuck in knee high, fast moving water and the fire crews walked the driver to safety.
