Amateur drone photographer takes snowy photos of Stamford from sky
An amateur drone photographer has captured photos of Stamford from the air after yesterday's snowfall.
Tom Richardson, of East Street, Stamford, was out taking the photos at about 10am this morning with the aim of capturing the blue sky and bright sunshine illuminating the now glistening snow.

He has owned the drone for about a year and loves capturing aerial scenes.
An IT supervisor, Tom has been hoping to capture images on a frosty day but on his days off work, it has not been frosty so this morning proved a perfect opportunity.
"I love photography as a hobby and I got the drone to capture images you can't from the ground," said Tom, 31. "It's just something I do in my spare time.
"I'm really happy with how these photos have turned out.
"I think Stamford looks really beautiful in the snow, especially with all the churches."
He said he particularly liked the way the shadows on the trees on the Recreation Ground fell, with the churches in the background.
