Easton Walled Gardens is the first to open for National Garden Scheme on Good Friday

Gardens in Lincolnshire are set to open once again in aid of nursing and caring charities, starting with Easton Walled Gardens.

The National Garden Scheme (NGS) is delighted to announce that many of its gardens are opening their gates once again to welcome visitors.

First to open is Easton Walled Gardens, on Friday, April 2.

The attraction will open is support of the NGS between 11am and 4pm.

The 400-year-old, 12-acre garden is home to snowdrops, sweet peas, roses and meadows.

There is a well-stocked gift shop and plants and garden accoutrements for sale.

Other highlights include a turf maze, yew tunnel and bird hide.

Toilets will be accessible.

Visitors do not need to pre-book to visit.

Admission is £8 adults, £4 children.

In order to comply with social distancing and other Government guidelines, visitor numbers will be limited at many gardens which open as part of the NGS scheme, so visitors will often need to buy tickets in advance, for a timed slot at the garden of their choice.

Refreshments will not be available.
