Rutland meeting will showcase funding opportunities for community groups




Community groups and charities are invited to a meeting to learn about funding opportunities.

The Rutland Community Wellbeing Service will host the session at Rutland County Museum in Oakham.

Grant-giving organisations including the National Lottery, Groundwork, Grantscape, The Community Foundation, the Office of the

Police and Crime Commissioner, The Rutland Trust, Rotary clubs and The Lions Club of Rutland will be there with information and advice.

Spokesman for Citizens Advice Rutland, Simon Mutsaars, said: “This is a great opportunity for community and voluntary sector organisations to talk with a number of funders in one place about their project ideas."

The drop in event is on Thursday, November 28 from 3-7pm.
