Deeping St James Exotic Pet Refuge hosts spooky Halloween event

Visitors - and the animals - got into the Halloween spirit at Deeping St James’ Exotic Pet Refuge yesterday (Sunday, October 30).

Families dressed up in spooky costumes to enjoy the event while the creatures also got in on the devilishly fun act, having their food delivered in hollowed out pumpkins and straw bodies - a particular hit with the lynxes.

About 100 visitors attended to help raise around £800 for the venue.
