Visitors are invited to go along to a wildlife open day at Stibbington Centre tomorrow (Saturday).

The event being held to mark the 30th anniversary of the creation of its on-site wildlife garden will give visitors the opportunity to explore the centre and its grounds, with activities for all the family to enjoy.

Between 10am and 3pm there will be activities including pond dipping, bug hunting, bird watching and rock spotting in the wildlife garden. Inside the centre there will be displays, ID charts and microscopes for a closer look, and craft activities too.

There will also be guided walks to Stibbington Lakes Nature Reserve and refreshments on hand at the Crunchy Carrot Cafe. As well as mementos on sale at the shop.

The beautiful 40 acre Wildlife Trust site is not usually open to the public - so make sure you pay a visit to enjoy a exciting and educational day out.

Admission to the event is £3 for adults, £2 for children. For further details please call the centre on 01780 782386 or e-mail cees.stibbington@cambridgeshire.gov.uk
