Pubs in Stamford and Rutland appear in the AA's Pub Guide 2020
Great British pubs have been honoured in a newly-published book.
The AA's Pub Guide 2020 celebrates everything the British public loves about pubs - good food, good beer and a good atmosphere.
The good news is there are plenty of great places to choose from locally with pubs from across Stamford, Rutland and The Deepings making it into the guide.
The Tobie Norris in Stamford, The King's Arms Inn in Wing, The Oliver Branch in Clipsham and the Jackson Stops Country Inn at Stretton even earned themselves "pick of the pubs" status.
Spokesman for AA Hospitality and Hotel Services, Simon Numphud, said “As we see more pubs closing in Britain, it is encouraging to have record numbers of pubs being recommended for The Pub Guide, demonstrating the extent to which pubs have continued to improve the quality of their offerings.
"The establishments in this year’s guide prove there is a brilliant range of pubs across the country, offering fantastic service, drinks and dining opportunities.”
Two thousands pubs are listed in the latest guide which costs £15.99 online.
It includes a detailed description of each pub, listing directions, child and dog friendliness, facilities and an insight into its food and drink.
