Fire crews called to serious accident on A15 in Bourne




Fire crews from Spalding, Deeping and Corby Glen were called to a serious accident on the A15 in Bourne where a casualty was trapped late last night (Friday).

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue says crews used airbags, cutting gear and spreaders to remove the rear seats of vehicle to extricate one casualty.

The road was closed from the McDonald's roundabout in Bourne and Thurlby, while the incident was dealt with.

There are no details at this stage on drivers, passengers or the extent of injuries or numbers of vehicles involved in the accident, which happened on the A15. Emergency services were summoned shortly before midnight.
