Green Plus Limited in Bourne granted planning permission by South Kesteven District Council for extra storage space as it seeks to grow plant firm
A company which delivers plants to supermarkets and online retailers has been granted planning permission for extra storage space.
Green Plus Ltd, based at Bourne Enterprise Park, anticipates its growth during the next six months will create a need for up to 20 new members of staff.
The company applied for planning permission to build a new storage shed at the site in Tunnel Bank which was unanimously approved by South Kesteven District Council’s planning committee on Wednesday.
The closest houses are 200 metres away and it was decided they would not be impacted by the expansion.
During the same meeting councillors were expected to discuss an application to build a concrete bock manufacturing facility at Colsterworth but it was deferred to a later date.
