Flying Scotsman steams over Harringworth Viaduct on way to Oakham, Melton Mowbray and York
The Flying Scotsman attracted scores of spectators to the Harringworth Viaduct on Saturday (June 29), when it passed over on its way towards Oakham.
The iconic locomotive was travelling from Ealing Broadway in London to York hauling The Yorkshireman train.
Tickets on sale with King's Lynn-Based The Railway Touring Company cost between £144 and £310 for an adult and were sold out for the day-long tour.

Those watching the train pass over the viaduct at 10am could then stay on for Harringworth fete from 11am until 2pm today.
Built in 1923 in Doncaster, The Flying Scotsman was the first locomotive of the newly formed London and North Eastern Railway (LNER).
In 1934 it became the first locomotive to clock a top speed of 100mph.
The Flying Scotsman was retired from running British Rail services in 1963 but continued to be symbol of national pride, travelling throughout the country as well as completing tours of Australia and the USA.
