Rutland Open Studios art trail follows exhibition in Victoria Hall, Oakham

A colourful taste of what’s to come is on show at Victoria Hall in Oakham today (Friday) and tomorrow.

The art exhibition, which has been on all this week, features just some of the work by artists taking part in Rutland Open Studios' June arts trail.

The arts trail begins next weekend (June 8 and 9) with studios open from 10am until 6pm. Studios will continue to be open on subsequent weekends until June 23.

This is the 13th year that artists from Rutland have opened their studio doors to the public, giving an insight into the creative processes involved in making art. Fifty artists are participating, with painting, sculpture, printmaking, jewellery, glassmaking, ceramics, photography, wood, pottery and mosaics among the disciplines.
