A fun Quiz Night was held at the Morton Village Hall to raise funds for the annual street fair




A fun Quiz Night organised by Morton and Hanthorpe 2000+ was held at the Morton Village Hall last week Friday to raise funds for the annual street fair.

Chairman Richard Wells said around 30 people attended the event which raised £80.

“It’s one of two quiz nights we hold a year to raise funds and awareness around the annual street fair,” said Richard.

“We have been doing this for the last 15 or 16 years and one is held in the autumn the other in spring.

“We filled about eight tables with 30 people which is par for the course,” he said.

“It’s a fun event not to be taken too seriously and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.”
