Gallery: Bourne Rotary Young Musician 2016
A packed audience of more than 200 enjoyed excellent performances from talented young musicians on Sunday, January 17.
The Rotary Club of Bourne’s 23rd Annual Young Musician Competition took place at Bourne Academy with a fantastic variety of performances.
Rotary secretary Bob Brown said all entrants should be congratulated for their efforts.
An audience of more than 200 saw excellent performances from all the entrants and they should be congratulated for their efforts.
The performers who received gold awards will now go on to the semi-finals on March 5.
In addition to the main awards a further presentation to the Young Musician of the Year, of the Mike Silverwood Trophy, was made by President Jo Sunner to Isobel Fovargue for her outstanding performance.
The club would like to thank all the competitors and their families for their support as well as Wild at Heart music shop for sponsoring all the prizes, Motorola for the sound system and Inner Wheel for the catering.
