King’s Cliffe gardener discovers rude looking carrot in harvest

A rude looking carrot was the highlight of a gardener’s harvest.

Paul Hudson made the amusing discovery on Monday (October 2) while harvesting the food he had grown in his King’s Cliffe garden.

He quickly took to his family WhatsApp group chat to share ‘front and back’ pictures, letting the images speak for themselves with a simple caption of ‘interesting carrot’.

The retired railway engineer said he couldn’t help but laugh when he pulled out the misshapen carrot, which resembles the lower half of a body.

Paul has been a keen gardener for a number of years but it is the first time he has grown such a rude looking vegetable.

While he hasn’t eaten it yet, he is planning to cook with it later this week as ‘there is nothing wrong with it’.
