BBC One’s Saturday Kitchen presenter Matt Tebbutt joins RAFA Rides at Kendrew Barracks in Rutland




Cyclists of all abilities are being invited to sign up for the RAF Association’s annual cycling event, RAFA Rides, next month.

RAFA Rides takes place on Saturday, June 17 and is on-road event in the grounds of Kendrew Barracks with varying distances – 25, 50, 75 or 100 miles.

Riders can also take part virtually from wherever they are in the world. You can sign up and find more details here.

BBC One’s Saturday Kitchen presenter and RAF Association Ambassador Matt Tebbutt is taking part in this year’s 100-mile ride.

“I’m delighted to take part in RAFA Rides this year,” he said.

“I had the chance to speak to some of the team at last year’s event and the atmosphere was amazing.

“That inspired me to get involved this year, and I can’t wait to hit the road with the other cyclists and raise as much money as possible.”

Last year, 800 cyclists from 11 countries took part and raised more than £100,000 for the association.

All profits from the event will go to the RAFA’ which provides help and support to millions of people in the RAF community.
