Sharron said: "I have worn it every day for four years now since my mum died. Wearing that necklace meant she was always with me."

The silver necklace was lost on Tuesday, December 3 and is likely to have been dropped in Stamford or in the area surrounding Castle Bytham village hall where Sharron was helping with a school nativity play.

The necklace, pictured, has the words "my lovely mum" engraved on the back.

Anyone who finds the necklace can contact the Stamford Mercury on 01780 758951 or email smeditor@stamfordmercury.co.uk so we can help it be returned to Sharron.
