GCSE results 2021: Arthur Mellows Village College, in Glinton, proud of 'exceptional' achievements




The incoming head at a Glinton school has praised pupils for their results achieved after a disrupted year.

The Arthur Mellows Village School said they were proud of all Year 11 pupils who had done exceptionally well, with their results mirroring the hard work they had put in.

A large number of their GCSE pupils will now go on to join the school's Sixth Form.

The school gave a special mention to the following pupils for their impressive achievements - Kiera Atkinson, Madison Brown, Charlotte Chapman, Nicole Chapman, William Gidney, Maddison Hobbs, Daniel Hutchinson, Amy Jessup, Morgan Jones, Jonathan Nash, Sophie Parker, Beatrice Phillips, Grace Pye, Poppy Revell, Caitlin Rookyard, Amy Samler, James Shaw, Charley Siggins, Emily Tocci and George Whiteman.

Jonathan Oakley, incoming Head of College, said: "We are immensely proud of all the work and achievements of our students, especially after such a difficult and disrupted year.

"Our teachers have worked tirelessly to ensure students are all able to progress onto the next stage of their education and study, and we look forward to seeing what they will achieve in the future.”
